Karen Lucas Breda, associate professor of nursing, ENHP; Maria Esposito Frank, associate professor of modern languages and culture, A&S; and their colleague, Cinthia Ruocco Miceli, have coauthored the chapter, “Italians,” for the recently released book Culture and Clinical Care, edited by Juliene G. Lipson and Suzanne L. Dibble. The book is published by UCSF Nursing Press.
The current release is an updated, revised, and expanded edition of Culture & Nursing Care, first published in 1996. A mainstay for healthcare professionals nationwide, guiding them to provide culturally appropriate health care, the book addresses many issues related to health and illness, including cultural/ethnic identity, family relationships, and birth and death rituals.
John R. Ogilvie, associate professor of management and department chair, Barney School of Business, completed a book that was published in January 2006 by Research & Education Associates, Piscataway, N.J. The title is The Best Test Preparation for CLEP Principles of Management.
