The hiring of Christine Pina as the University’s new vice president of institutional advancement was reported on by the Associated Press, which led to the story being picked up by a number of media outlets, including the Boston Globe and the Women in Academia Report. The news was also highlighted in the Hartford Business Journal, West Hartford Life, and on West Hartford Patch.com.
John Feierabend, head of the music education division at The Hartt School, was highlighted in a Nov. 14 story on the front page of the “CT Now” section of the Hartford Courant. University of Hartford Director of Athletics Patricia Meiser, who was the women’s basketball coach at Penn State from 1971 to 1981, was interviewed by NBC Connecticut on Thursday, Nov. 10, about the sexual abuse scandal there.
