Hartt Community Division on WFSB-TV, Telemundo, and Hartford Courant

Check out previews of, and interviews about, The Hartt School Community Division's performance of “The Nutcracker” on WFSB-TV Channel 3's “Better Connecticut” show on Friday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m. The show’s hosts, Kara Sundlun and Scot Haney, filmed segments during rehearsal on Thursday, Dec. 15, for their cameo appearances during the weekend performances of “The Nutcracker.” In addition, the Hartford/Springfield affiliate of Telemundo did interviews with Samantha Dunster, who is chair of the Hartt dance division, as well as with a parent and a student, that will air on Friday, Dec. 16, during the 6 p.m. hour.

The Connecticut Children’s Choir, a program of The Hartt School Community Division and the official children's chorus of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and director Stuart Younse, assistant professor and choral conductor in The Hartt School's vocal division, received very positive reviews in the Hartford Courant on Saturday, Dec. 3, for their performance during the the Hartford Symphony's Holiday Masterworks program at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.
