Prosthetics & Orthotics Class to be Highlighted on NBC Connecticut on Wednesday and More

NBC Connecticut’s “Making the Grade” feature on Wednesday, Dec. 21, will highlight the Prosthetics & Orthotics master’s degree program offered by the University and show footage of a class working with clients at the Newington training facility. You can watch the report on the 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts, and it will also be rebroadcast during the Thursday, Dec. 22, morning newscast at 6 a.m.
Jon Basti, assistant men’s lacrosse coach at the University, was interviewed for a story in the Monday, Dec. 19, edition of the Hartford Business Journal about the increased use of tablet devices (such as the iPad) in the workplace by people who are on the go but who don’t want to carry a laptop computer.
