Hartt's Michael Morris Involved with PBS Special, "Christmas at Belmont"

Michael Morris
Michael Morris, director of music for The Hartt School Theatre Division, was commissioned to write a brief introductory fanfare for the PBS special, "Christmas at Belmont," which aired locally on Dec. 22 on WGBY and on Dec. 25 on WEDH. This year's show was hosted by Laura Bell Bundy (from Broadway's Legally Blonde and Wicked).
Morris's instrumental arrangement of "Good King Wenceslas" also was performed on the show by the Belmont Symphony Orchestra, in which his daughter, Melodie, holds second chair in the cello section.
