Hartford Hawks women’s basketball coach Jennifer Rizzotti joined UConn women’s basketball coach Geno Auriemma, and Trinity men’s squash coach Paul Assaiante for a discussion of “Winning Streaks” in the University of Hartford’s Lincoln Theater on Thursday, Jan. 12. The program, which was sponsored by the MetroHartford Alliance, the Hartford Courant, and the University, was covered in stories that aired on Fox CT Newsand NBC Connecticut and published in the Hartford Courant.

John Busque, a 19-year-old member of the University’s cross country team, broke away from the pack and headed toward the finish line well ahead of the rest of the race participants in the annual Officer Brian Aselton Snow Dash, noted a story in the Reminder News on Friday, Jan. 13. The race drew nearly 300 runners for an event that honored the memory of an East Hartford officer killed in the line of duty. “It's a good cause, and I really enjoy it,'' said Busque, who came in second in the race last year.
