Desmond Publishes Essay in The Encyclopedia of Adolescence

Roger Desmond, professor in the School of Communication, has an essay in a new book, The Encyclopedia of Adolescence, titled “Do Not Buy That.” The volume is edited by Roger Levesque of Indiana University and published by Springer.
The essay summarizes and critiques research on adolescent cynicism and resistance to advertising appeals.
