Ramsey on WDRC Radio; Goldstein Class to be Rebroadcast on CSPAN3
John Ramsey, general manager of WWUH radio, author, and webmaster for hartfordradiohistory.com, will be a guest on "The Talk of Connecticut" with host Dan Lovallo on WDRC Radio (1360 AM) on Friday, Feb. 10, from 4 to 5 p.m. Ramsey will be discussing Hartford radio history on the program, which also will be carried on WSNG 610 in Torrington, WWCO 1240 in Waterbury, and WMMW 1470 in Meriden.
A fall semester freshman seminar class titled "Beyond the Dreamer: The Life and Work of Martin Luther King Jr.," will be rebroadcast on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 8 p.m. and midnight, and Sunday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m., as part of the C-SPAN3 cable channel's American History TV "Lectures in History" series. The class was taught by Professor Warren Goldstein, chair of the history department in the College of Arts and Sciences. Click here to watch the entire class online.
