Russell Publishes Research in Psychology of Music

Joshua Russell, assistant professor of music education in The Hartt School, coauthored a study titled "A multi-institution exploration of secondary socialization and occupational identity among undergraduate music majors" in Psychology of Music.
Russell conducted the study with scholars from the University of Colorado and Ithaca College in order to examine the occupational identity development of undergraduate music majors from several subfields of musical study as well as societal and geographical loci.
