Joshua Russell Receives National Research Award

Joshua Russell, assistant professor of music education, The Hartt School, was awarded the American String Teachers Association’s Emergent String Researcher Award on March 23, 2012.

Russell was the first recipient of this award, which is designed to recognize quality research endeavors by early career scholars.  Dr. Kirk Moss, the national president of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA), presented the award to Russell at the ASTA National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
