The spring 2012 issue of "Hartbeat," the University's new student magazine.

The second issue of Hartbeat, the University's new student magazine, is now available at various locations around campus.

The new issue includes a variety of news and feature stories, as well as poetry, student photography, profiles of talented students, job interview tips, articles by University faculty and staff members, and much more.

Hartbeat was founded by Daniel Crittenden '12, a senior majoring in English/creative writing, who has devoted much of the last two years to getting the magazine off the ground. From fundraising and organizing to writing and production, Crittenden has been tireless in his efforts to start a magazine that covers student life at the University of Hartford.

The first issue of Hartbeat came out last October.

If you're looking for a copy of Hartbeat, or if you'd like to get involved with the magazine, visit the Hartbeat Facebook page or contact Daniel Crittenden at dcrittend@hartford.edu.
