Firkatian Presents Paper at Newcastle Conference

Mari Firkatian, associate professor of history at Hillyer College, presented a paper at the "Moving Dangerously Conference: Women and Travel, 1850-1950" held at Newcastle University in England.

In addition, on April 22 she gave a talk on the Armenian communities of Bulgaria at St. Stephen’s Church in New Britain, Conn., in commemoration of the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide by the Ottoman Turkish government in 1915.
