Reminder: Respond to Survey on 'Family Friendly' Environment at the University

The following message from President Walter Harrison was sent to faculty and staff on April 25.

Dear University of Hartford Employee:

As you may be aware, I established the Commission on the Status of Women in 2009. This commission is charged with examining how we can optimize opportunities for all women and men on our faculty and staff. The commission encompasses three task forces, one of which is focusing on the “family friendly” environment at the University of Hartford. We believe it is critically important to survey staff and faculty about some of our current policies and benefits and to obtain information about employees’ perceived needs. Our interest is in all employees and all families: individuals, couples, families with young children, and multi-generational families.

With that in mind, we are asking that you access a brief survey via the link below, and complete it by Friday, May 25, 2012. Please be assured that survey responses are being collected in such a way that you cannot be identified and your answers will remain anonymous. Thank you so much for your assistance.
