Respond to Survey About Impact of Media Coverage of Haiti Earthquake

Bliss Piverger, who is pursuing a Master of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences, is seeking individuals to respond to an online survey as part of her research for her master's thesis.

Piverger's research aims to examine the impact of the Jan. 12, 2010 Haitian earthquake upon those indirectly exposed to it through media coverage. The purpose of the study is to determine whether, after a catastrophe, media exposure plays a role in the functional impairment of those who consume it.

The research is part of Piverger's master's thesis, under the supervsion of Associate Professor of Psychology Mala Matacin.
