Important Information About Customs Declarations for International Mail

Effective May 21, 2012, the United States Postal Service will not be able to accept outbound international mail pieces (over 13 ounces) bearing handwritten or typewritten customs declarations except at a USPS service counter.

International mail pieces (over 13 ounces) bearing customs declarations must be completed online. Departments shipping these mail pieces must fill out the customs declarations online before Mail Services can process them. The online customs declarations forms are on www.USPS.com.
