The first Hartford Hawks Boys Basketball Camp will be held Monday, June 25, through Friday, June 29, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Chase Arena at the Reich Family Pavilion.

The five-day camp is open to all boys entering grades 5 through 12 in the fall and will focus on individual skill development as well as team concepts within five-on-five play, says John Gallagher, University of Hartford men's basketball coach.

Campers will be grouped by age upon arrival at camp and teams will be formed following the Hartford coaching staff's evaluation of each participant to ensure fair play. The camp fee of $200 includes instruction from members of the Hartford Hawks men’s basketball coaching staff and players, a camp T-shirt, prizes for individual and five-on-five champions, and free admission to a Hartford Hawks men's home game of your choice for the upcoming 2012-13 season.

Campers should arrive with sneakers, shorts, T-shirt, and a bagged lunch for each day. For more information, contact Brian Glowiak, director of Men’s Basketball Operations, at glowiak@hartford.edu. To download a camp registration form, click here.

We look forward to a great week and hope to see you there!
