Carl Authors Book Chapter on the Music of John Luther Adams

Robert Carl, professor of composition and music theory in The Hartt School, authored a chapter in the newly released book on John Luther Adams' music, The Farthest Place.

Carl says the book is an “informative read for anyone interested in new-maverick American music.” Other chapter authors include Alex Ross, Kyle Gann, Glenn Kotche, Peter Garland, Steve Schick, and Molly Sheridan.
