Basketball Doubleheader on Dec. 22 to be Hot Ticket

For the first time since taking over the Hartford Hawks women’s basketball program in 1999, Head Coach Jennifer Rizzotti will have the opportunity to play her alma mater on the Hawks' home court, Chase Arena at the Reich Family Pavilion.

The University of Hartford and the University of Connecticut will begin a new three-game women’s basketball series with the initial game scheduled to be played on the University of Hartford campus this December. 

The game will kick off a memorable basketball doubleheader on Saturday, December 22, at 1 p.m. In the nightcap, John Gallagher's men's basketball team will face a state rival of its own, Sacred Heart University.

The single-admission twinbill is part of both the men’s and women’s season ticket packages, so season-ticket holders are guaranteed seats. Others may place their names on a waiting list for tickets by e-mailing tickets@hartford.edu.
