State Income Tax Withholding Error Corrected

It was recently brought to the attention of Payroll that the software program to withhold Connecticut state income tax from earnings has been incorrect since the paycheck of June 22, 2012, up to and including the Aug. 3, 2012, paycheck.

For most employees, the calculation was correct. The incorrect calculation has affected a minority of employees.

The provider of the software program has delivered an addendum to the program. Payroll has tested the new program. It has been implemented for the paycheck that will be dated Aug. 17.
