Looking for Part-time Student Workers?
Are you looking for part-time student workers? The University’s Office of Career Services can help!
Supervisors may list part-time student positions on CareerBridge. To begin, simply scroll down to “click here to register" (under the login button). Enter “University of Hartford” and your department’s name. If a current department “contact person” does not appear, you can open your own account with your own password. Then you can list as many positions as you wish for as long as you wish!
Regular part-time student employment is normally funded through each University department’s budget.
Federal work study employment may be awarded as part of a student’s financial aid package. The student must be eligible, based upon financial need. Work study awards are controlled by the Office of Student Financial Assistance in Bates House (ext. 4296). Federal work study jobs should be listed on CareerBridge.
During the regular academic year, students may work on-campus for University of Hartford departments no more than 20 hours per week, regardless of whether the assignment is federal work study, regular part-time employment, or a combination of both.
If you have any questions about CareerBridge, or if you would like advice regarding how best to find qualified students, please call Career Services at ext. 4287.
