Short-term Study Abroad in Italy this Winter!
Spend two weeks this January in Italy while earning six credits toward graduation. Students are invited to register for this short-term study abroad program that travels to Rome and Florence. Immerse yourself in the history, culture, art and dramatic literature of the Italian peninsula. Let the streets and squares of the bustling city of Rome become your classroom as you learn about the landmarks, legends and life of early Italy. Travel to the Tuscany village of Prato, a quintessential Italian town just outside of Florence, and experience the art history and study the development of theatre during the Italian Renaissance.
Course: Landmarks, Legends and Dramatic Theatre of Italy
Course Numbers: Choose two for six credits total: AUCW 175, AUCA 175, DRA 362 (ENG368), DRA330 (ENG330)
This program is led by Professor Bob Davis, and students are invited to attend an information session on Thursday, September 20, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in A420. Learn more about the program, check out the syllabus and itinerary, meet other students who are going and hear about the courses you can take.
Program cost is at $4,385 which includes six credits UH tuition, housing, in-country transportation, scheduled excursions, entrance fees, and some meals. Airfare not included.
Submit your application to the International Center GSU 327. All applications and a program deposit of $1,000 are due October 15.
