Thank You From the Weaver Family

The family of former University of Hartford basketball player Amanda Weaver '11 has sent a message of thanks to the University community in response to the "Walk for Weaver" on Sept. 8. More than 1,000 walkers raised over $45,000 toward medical expenses for Weaver, who is battling colon cancer.

Here is the family's message:

Our family was overwhelmed with the outpouring of support we received from the Walk for Weaver. The incredible amount of monetary donations will help tremendously with Amanda’s medical expenses, but please know that your prayers and the love that we have received from all of you are priceless.
