Katharine Owens Solo Printmaking Show Opens Oct. 17

There will be an opening for a month-long show by Katharine Owens on Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Middletown Framing and Gallery, 502 Main St., Middletown, Conn.

The show will include a dozen woodcuts of insects. Owens, an assistant professor of politics and government in the College of Arts and Sciences, has been a printmaker since the late 1990s.
