Study Abroad 101 Info Sessions
The Study Abroad Office at the University of Hartford offers Study Abroad 101 Info Sessions frequently throughout the semester. The sessions cover essential study abroad information and will walk you through all the basic steps you need to consider in selecting the program most appropriate for your personal, academic and professional interests . . . AND your budget. Topics include: determining eligibility, when to go abroad, academic policies, the application process, costs and financial aid. Come learn what it is REALLY like to study abroad from University of Hartford students who have already done it! Join us for lunch and roundtable discussion and get all your questions answered by study abroad alumni. Free lunch will be provided.
Community Service & Research Abroad Workshop

Learn how to earn UofH credits while carrying out community service or research abroad for a semester or year!
Study Abroad Alumni: International Career Workshop
Tuesday, Oct. 23
12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in A320
This doesn't have to be it! Join representatives from the Study Abroad Office and Career Services to learn how you can get abroad again through teaching, studying, working, and volunteering abroad. Learn about opportunities that exist for you before and after graduation, as well as how to capitalize on your international experiences to help you land that first job. Lunch will be provided.
Global Ambassadors Club

The Global Ambassadors Club brings together international and U.S. students from all backgrounds. Meetings, games and activities are held throughout the semester. Make new friends while learning about the world!
Spanish Club: Español Para Todos

2 to 3 p.m. in the GSU Cafeteria
The UHA Spanish Club, "Español Para Todos," is back this fall! Come take a break, practice your Spanish conversation and make new friends! You don’t have to be fluent to join in the fun. This program is offered in collaboration with the Study Abroad Office, Dept. of Modern Languages and Naciones Hispanas Unidas (NHU).
