Learn About WELFund Grant Opportunities
The Women's Education and Leadership Fund (WELFund) awards more than $50,000 in WELFund grants annually to students, staff, and faculty at the University of Hartford through a competitive application and review process.
Groundbreaking research and many successful programs and clubs got their start from crucial WELFund funding, including Women for Change, the Mad About Science Summer STEM Camp, the Annual Women Composers Festival, and A Homecoming for Women: HCW Reunion, among many others.
This year's deadline for submitting letter of inquiry forms is Monday, Nov. 12.
To learn more, please review the 2012-13 WELFund Grant Guidelines. Once you have reviewed the guidelines, if you are interested in applying, you may use the online form found at the grant application web page to submit your letter of inquiry. The online form is a new requirement this year and is due by Nov. 12.
In mid-December, select applicants will be invited to submit a full online application that will be due March 8, 2013. Final awards will be announced by the end of April for the 2013-14 funding year commencing on July 1, 2013.
