Looking for a book or a musical score that the Libraries don’t own? Need an article from a journal that the Libraries don’t subscribe to? Place an ILL request for it with our new ILLiad @ H interlibrary loan management system.

ILLiad @ H allows current faculty, staff, and students to create individual interlibrary loan (ILL) accounts. Contact information and electronic delivery preferences are saved in the system to be applied to each request made.

Requests can be submitted using WorldCat or other selected library databases by clicking the “Request through ILLiad @ H” link displayed on the detailed record screen of the needed item. This will bring up the ILLiad @ H logon page and automatically transfer all of the necessary information about the material to your account once you’ve signed in. ILLiad @ H also provides blank request forms for users to manually type in citation information to request material not held in the University Libraries collection.

Requests for journal articles, books, book chapters, conference papers, music scores, dissertations and theses, and microfilm are processed by the University Libraries Interlibrary Services Unit and sent to other libraries asking them to supply the material for our patrons’ use. Once requests are in the ILLiad @ H system, users can log in to their accounts to track book due dates, view electronically delivered articles, and check on the status of items in process.
