Free Zumba Classes Extended to Dec. 6
Beginning in September, the Office of Human Resources Development offered a four-week Zumba class to faculty and staff free of charge. The program has had an overwhelming response and we are happy to announce that the class will continue to meet on Thursdays from 5 to 5:45 p.m. through Dec. 6. The class will take place in GSU 331 and 333.
This program will remain open to all faculty and staff free of charge. The University is able to fund these classes thanks to a generous grant from the Cigna Foundation.
Come see what everyone has been talking about and let the motivation of Zumba, a Latin inspired dance-fitness program, help you work out and maintain and/or improve your healthy lifestyle!
Stephanie Hannon, owner of Work It Mom Fitness, LLC, and a graduate of the Hartford Art School, will provide a Zumba fitness-party.
If you would like more information or are interested in participating in this program, please contact Kathe Snow, HR generalist and wellness advocate, at 860.768.4668 or ksnow@hartford.edu.
Come join the fun!
