American Brass Quintet, Featuring Hartt Faculty Members, Receives Award

The American Brass Quintet – which includes Hartt faculty members Kevin Cobb, trumpet, and David Wakefield, horn – has been named the 2013 recipient of the Richard J. Bogomolny National Service Award, Chamber Music America’s highest honor.

The award has been presented annually since 1980 to those who have made lasting, significant contributions to chamber music. The ensemble will receive the award during CMA’s 35th National Conference, January 17–20, in New York City.
