The University Players will perform "Six Characters in Search of an Author" on Friday and Saturday.

The University Players production of Six Characters in Search of an Author opened last weekend with great success, leaving audiences spellbound. One weekend remains to check out this unique piece of theatre, featuring work by University of Hartford students.

In this masterpiece by Luigi Pirandello, adapted by Robert Brustein of A.R.T., six living characters interrupt a theatre rehearsal and demand the company stage their life story – a drama so powerful it blurs the line between illusion and reality.

Performances are this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17, at 8 p.m. in Auerbach Auditorium (Hillyer Hall). Tickets may be purchased at the door and are $3 for students and $5 for general admission. For more information, please call 860.768.4315.
