Printer Survey Under Way on Campus
The following email was sent to faculty and staff on Dec. 4 by Director of Purchasing Dennis Gacioch.
To All Staff and Faculty:
As the University of Hartford strives to improve services to our faculty, staff and students, we have asked our representative from Canon to perform a print output assessment of the entire campus.
The goal of the assessment is to identify the number of print output devices that are on campus and identify ways that would enable us to have more accessibility to securely print our documents, improve productivity, reduce waste and promote environmental and fiscal responsibility.
Beginning Tuesday, Dec. 4, our Canon representative, Steve Hock, and his associate, Brian Correll, will be starting the assessment. During this time, we ask that you please allow them access to print output devices, even those behind locked doors, so they can obtain the following information: device model/serial number and printed configuration page. Canon anticipates completing the inventory by Thursday, Dec. 13.
If you should have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call me at 860.768.4007 or Lynne Rizzi, Assistant Director of Purchasing, at 860.768.4009.
Thank you for your assistance.
