The Cathedral Choir and Schola Cantorum will be joined by the choirs of the Hartt School, the Atlantic Brass Quintet, and Cathedral Organist, Dr. Ezequiel Menéndez, in a Festival of Lessons and Carols.

Under the direction of recently appointed choirmaster Dr. Edward Bolkovac, the combined musical forces will present a varied program of Yuletide music from all stylistic periods designed to illuminate the nine read lessons. There will be ample opportunities for audience participation.

In this season of giving, all proceeds from this event will go to Hartford Concerts for Charities and will be disbursed to the Hartt School Community Division's Fund for Access, which provides funding for private music instruction to promising students in need of financial assistance.
