Student Could Win a $10,000 Scholarship at College Bowl Game This Weekend
Imagine having the chance to win a $10,000 scholarship just for watching a football game. Rickie Reilly ’16 has that chance this weekend, thanks to the Gildan "Touchdowns for Tuition" Sweepstakes.
Reilly and his family will be in the stands at this Saturday’s Gildan New Mexico Bowl when Arizona faces Nevada. Every time one of the teams scores a touchdown, Reilly will win $1,000 toward his tuition (up to $10,000).
“I don’t care who wins,” Reilly said. “I am rooting for both teams!”
Reilly, a computer science major and member of the Cheerleading squad, also received an all-expenses paid trip to Albuquerque. He is traveling with his mother, father, two brothers and aunt.
The Gildan New Mexico Bowl airs on ESPN at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15. Reilly is expected to be interviewed during the broadcast.
