Softball Clinic Slated for Feb. 5

Diana Consolmagno, head softball coach, along with the Hawks' coaching staff and student-athletes, have again partnered up with Fastpitch Nation in Bloomfield in offering a two-hour softball clinic on Tuesday, February 5.

The softball clinic, which begins at 7 p.m., covers fielding, throwing, base running and hitting. All players between the ages of 8-18 are encouraged to participate. Players will be broken up into smaller groups determined by their age.

Fastpitch Nation has served as the winter home for the Hawks' preseason for the past five years and is located at 62 Douglas St., in Bloomfield, Conn.

The Hartford Softball Clinic helps the Hartford Hawks softball program raise valuable funds that provide the student-athletes with the opportunity to travel and compete across the nation. The cost for the clinic is $45 for members and $50 for non-members.
