Barry posted a time of 17:39.29 at the Terrier Invitational to finish 23rd in the field, qualifying her for the New England Championship. Junior John Busque represented the Hawk men at the Terrier Invitational in the 5,000 meters Saturday night, posting a time of 15:15.67, a personal best at that distance.
At the Joe Donahue Collegiate meet at Boston's Reggie Lewis Center, the Hartford women posted 13 points to finish 12th as a team. The Hawk men scored eight points, finishing 11th in the team standings.
The Hawks are back on the track in Hanover, N.H., to compete at Dartmouth on February 1, the final meet for the Hawks before the America East Indoor Track and Field Championship, February 11-12.
