Due to the blizzard, the dates for the Hartford Art School print sale have been extended, and the date for the reception, drawing, and silent auction has been changed to Friday, Feb. 15. Please note the new dates below.

The students and faculty of the Hartford Art School (HAS) are thrilled to be hosting their annual Print Sale and Raffle Drawing. Original hand pulled prints, books, and drawings will be for sale starting at $10. A portion of the proceeds will help fund the students' travel to the Southern Graphics Council National Conference, which will be held in March in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The print sale will run from Tuesday, Feb. 12 – Sunday, Feb. 17, in the Silpe Gallery of the Hartford Art School.

A reception will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Silpe Gallery.

During the reception, prints will be offered through a special silent auction as well as through our drawing. Being raffled off are two portfolios of prints created by both students and faculty. Tickets for the drawing are $3 each or two for $5. Tickets can be purchased now from any Print Club member and at the reception. Winners will be announced during the reception, but you do not need to be present to win.

Please come and buy your sweetheart something handmade this Valentine's Day, and get something for yourself too!

Silpe Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 12 to 4 p.m. For more information visit www.silpegallery.org or call 860.768.4393.
