Founders Day will be celebrated during the men's basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 20, against the University of New Hampshire. The festivities will continue on the actual 56th birthday of the University of Hartford the following day, Thursday, Feb. 21.

Students who attend the Feb. 20 game will receive FREE Founders Day T-shirts. There will also be a paper airplane contest at halftime for all fans, where participants will make paper airplanes and send them flying toward a target on the basketball court.

But it doesn't end there . . . All students who wear the T-shirts to the next day’s Founders Day festivities will receive a FREE prize, and will be entered into a drawing for larger prizes!

Here's how it will work:

- The University will celebrate Founders Day on Thursday, Feb. 21, beginning at 12:15 p.m., on the new bridge over the Park River. There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the bridge, followed by a Founders Day Float Contest on the bridge, and birthday cake and music in Gengras Student Union.

All students who wear their Founders Day T-shirts to the events on the bridge will receive a FREE prize, and will be entered into a drawing for larger prizes!
