Summer Place offers programs for preschoolers through eleventh-graders.

Registrations are now being accepted for Summer Place, the University’s highly regarded camp programs for young people.

There are four programs: the Summer Place, Summer Place Leaders in Training, Kinderplace, and Li’l Place. Each summer, over 1,000 campers and their families are introduced to the outstanding opportunities and facilities at the University.

As in the past, children of University employees may attend a Summer Place program at reduced rates. Contact the Summer Place office for information about this special benefit to full-time and regular part-time faculty and staff.

Highlights of the Four Programs

Summer Place, for first through ninth graders, is a unique enrichment and sports program that gives campers the opportunity to choose from 73 courses in art, computers, cooking, cooperative learning, outdoor adventure, science, theater, and more; and from a wide range of team sports and non-competitive athletic activities. More than 100 teachers, coaches, and college students staff the program.
