Sign Up for 'Hawks Helping Hartford' Day of Service!
The Center for Community Service and SGA invite all students, faculty, and staff to join them for the third annual "Hawks Helping Hartford" Day of Service on Friday, April 5.
Participants will be volunteering at parks, shelters, soup kitchens, and other local nonprofits as well as cleaning up areas in downtown Hartford.
The schedule is as follows:
10:30 a.m. | Kickoff Event at Konover
Volunteers will receive a free “Day of Service” T-shirt.
12 p.m. - 3 p.m. | Service Projects in Hartford
Transportation will be provided from Konover.
3:30 p.m. | Free BBQ for Participants at UofH:
Volunteers will have an opportunity to win prizes.
Online registration is required. To see a list of the projects and to sign up, visit the University of Hartford's VolunteerMatch website.
The last day to register is Friday, March 22.
