Annual Dialogue for Direction Program – Upcoming Training Sessions
Please be advised that the office of Human Resources Development (HRD) has recently distributed materials for the 2013 Dialogue for Direction program to University deans, directors, and administrative department heads.
The overall design of the Dialogue for Direction program is to provide the staff member and supervisor with a process for facilitating discussion as well as planning performance objectives and direction for the next fiscal year. The University of Hartford links performance with pay and uses this process to make employment decisions, promotions, transfers, and planning for staff development.
Dialogue for Direction Forms, as well as the Dialogue for Direction Guide for staff and supervisors, are available online. To download the forms or applicable guides, please visit www.hartford.edu/hrd/Forms.aspx.
Please note that the forms for exempt and non-exempt staff have been updated this year. HRD will be hosting informational training sessions for both supervisory and non-supervisory employees to review this important process and changes to the forms. The dates are as follows:
Supervisory Staff
Thursday, April 11, 8:30-10:30 a.m., A327
Non-Supervisory Staff
Friday, April 19, 9-11 a.m., A326
Completed Dialogue for Directions must be returned to HRD no later than Friday, May 31.
