Alpha Chi Donates 300 Books to University Magnet Schools

The Beta Chapter of the Alpha Chi Honor Society on campus conducted its third annual book drive from February 4 to 15. The honor society collected gently used books for grades K through 12.

Led by President Eyas Azzuni and Vice President Kyle Hebert, Alpha Chi donated approximately 300 books to the University of Hartford Magnet School and the University High School of Science and Engineering.

The librarians at both schools were eager to receive the books. Cheryl Dowling, the librarian at the magnet elementary school, stated she was "thrilled by your kindness and generosity."

The Alpha Chi officers want to thank all students, staff, and faculty who donated so generously.
