Faculty Technology Networking Wiki
Do you have experience with a particular technology that you can share with your fellow instructors? Or are you looking to get started with lecture capture? Just want some information about blogs? We can help.
The Faculty Center for Learning Development's Peer Mentor Wiki is a listing of faculty members at the University of Hartford who have offered to share their technological expertise with their colleagues. While this is a public wiki and open to anyone, it is intended to be used and edited by faculty at the University of Hartford. If you are an instructor who has never used a wiki before, here's a great video to get you started.
Finding a Technology Mentor
If you are looking for assistance with a particular type of technology, just click on one of the categories to find a list of participating faculty members willing to be contacted for help.
Adding Your Name to the Directory
To add yourself as a mentor, click on a category, then click the Edit button at the top of the page and enter your information. For security reasons, we recommend you use only your University of Hartford email or campus phone number. Feel free to enter your name in multiple categories if you are willing to work with faculty on more than one type of technology. If you have a technology expertise that is not listed here, feel free to enter it in the Other category.
To edit your information or remove your name from the directory, click on the category where you entered your information and click on the Edit button on that page to change your listing.
