University alumna Alexandria Hubbard '10, a former editor of The Informer, was running in her first marathon on April 15 in Boston to raise funds for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute when the tragic bombing occurred.

Although not physically injured, she expresses her emotional pain through her blog “the saga of a twenty-something.”

Her marathon bib – #23151 – and medal are the opening graphic for the ABC World News story that aired on April 16.

The University community is grateful that Alexandria was not physically harmed and sends its best wishes for her future endeavors.
