A trio of Hawks earned top-four finishes Sunday to pace Hartford on the track at the 2013 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Binghamton University.

Both Hawk squads finished eighth in the team standings as the women picked up 34 total points at the meet and the Hawk men garnered six total points over the two-day championship.

Over the course of the two-day meet, the Hawks combined to break three school records, earn a pair of All-Conference honors and post 17 top-10 individual finishes, including four marks in the top-five.

The women's 400-meter dash final highlighted the second day for the Hawks as sophomore Tiffany Harrison and senior Priscilla Appiagyei finished third and fourth, respectively. Harrison led the way with a third-place time of 55.39 seconds, just .02 off her own school record. The sophomore earned an All-Conference nod with her finish. Appiagyei was close behind, crossing the line at 55.69, a personal-best time.

The pair then ended the day leading the women's 4x400 relay to a fourth-place finish in school-record fashion. Harrison and Appiagyei teamed with senior Natalie Bonham and junior Rebecca Cheatham to pass the baton in a program-best 3:49.41.

The other top-four individual performance came from junior Megan Barry, who finished fourth in the women's 5,000 meters. After a second-place result in Saturday's 10,000 meters, Barry returned to the track to post a 5,000-meter time of 17:45.69.

On the men's side, the 4x400 relay scored a sixth-place mark. The foursom of Eric Tahtamoni, Gario Graham, Jared Casey, and Mike Iosebashvili crossed the line in 3:20.88.
