“Cadillac Man” to Speak on Campus for Homelessness Awareness Event
Wednesday, April 17
1:30-3 p.m.
Regents Commons, Shaw Center (Hillyer Hall)
Faculty and students from Hillyer College and the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions (ENHP) have joined forces to create an event to increase awareness of homelessness.
The highlight will be a talk given by the "Cadillac Man" in the Regents Commons of the Shaw Center on Wednesday, April 17, from 1:30-3 p.m. In his book, Land of the Lost Souls, the Cadillac Man chronicled his 13 years living as a homeless person on the streets of New York City.
This event is free and open to the public.
The event was organized by Hillyer Associate Professor of Sociology Wick Griswold and his students in collaboration with ENHP's Project Horizon. For additional information, contact Karen Breda at breda@hartford.edu.
