Segool Elected to Board of Directors of the Intensive Education Academy

Natasha K. Segool, assistant professor of psychology, A&S, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Intensive Education Academy, Inc.

The Intensive Education Academy is located at 840 North Main St. in West Hartford. The board of directors is responsible for ensuring IEA's mission: "through loving affirmation and concern, the students are enabled to become all they are meant to be – responsible and productive members of society."

Segool, who was elected to the board in April, graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with an A.B. in psychology, and earned an M.A. and Ph.D. in school psychology from Michigan State University.

"The Intensive Education Academy, Inc. welcomes this new member and is confident that she will bring new ideas and strong leadership skills to the board," said Lynn A. Brooks, president of the board of directors of the Intensive Education Academy.
