Richard Freund, professor and director of the Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies, did a live radio interview with host Dave Rutherford on the Corus radio network in Alberta (heard both in Edmonton and Calgary). The interviewed aired on Thursday, May 2, in advance of his talk about his book Digging Through the Bible, at the University of Calgary, on Sunday, May 6.

The Broadway community gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of the late Kevin Gray, associate professor of theatre in The Hartt School and a renowned Broadway performer, on Monday, May 13, at the Majestic Theatre in New York City. The event helped raise funds for two endowment funds that have been established in his name, “The Kevin Gray Musical Theater Award Endowment Fund” at Duke University and “The Kevin Gray Memorial Scholarship Award” at the Hartt School of the University of Hartford. The event was covered by WPIX-TV and by Broadway World.
Norm Young, associate vice president facilities planning and management, was featured in a Hartford Business Journal story on March 18 about the University’s application to the state’s pilot microgid energy program.
