Information Session for Faculty About the University Preceptor Program
Information Session About the Preceptor Program:
Thursday, April 11
12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
Dana 202 (Mali II)
ATTENTION, FULL-TIME FACULTY FROM ALL SCHOOLS:
If you have never participated in the Preceptor Program but might consider employing a preceptor in a course aimed at first-year students during fall 2013, then please come to an information session designed to explain the preceptor program, its aims, and its benefits.
In addition to receiving a nominal stipend, student preceptors are enrolled in University Studies 300: The Preceptor Experience, and receive three credits (P/NP) for their service. Details will be provided at this information session.
If you have a preceptor in mind, please invite that student to attend and learn more about the program.
There will be ample time for questions.
For more information, please contact Mark Blackwell, director of the Preceptor Program, at 860.768.4941 or email@example.com.
