Join UHart Team for the 'Electric Run' 5K Run/Walk

The office of Human Resources Development (HRD) is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to get fit, stay healthy, and have fun!

The ELECTRIC RUN 5K RUN/WALK is coming to Rentschler Field in East Hartford on Saturday, Aug. 10. This is an “electric wonderland” course where participants are guided through the night-time event by light and music. More information can be found at http://electricrun.com/hartford.

If you would like to register, choose the “Team of 4 or more” selection, and our team name is University of Hartford. The password for our team is glow2013. Neon clothing and accessories are highly encouraged so you can “glow” throughout the course. We do have a small supply of red University of Hartford dry fit shirts available, so please contact Lindsay McKeegan (lmckeegan@hartford.edu) if you would like one of those instead.

This event is a University-sponsored Wellness Challenge, and will count for 25 points on your PureWellness portal if you participate.

This event also will be reimbursable for faculty and staff who participate, so please provide registration confirmation upon receipt to Lindsay in HRD for reimbursement.
