Empower the Girls We Love: Personal Safety Training 101

Assistant Chief Mike Kaselouskas of the University's Department of Public Safety will be conducting a three-hour class titled "Empower the Girls We Love: Personal Safety Training 101."

The next classes will take place on campus on Friday, Aug. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A limited number of free seats are available for female faculty/staff members attending alone or with their daughters. The program is geared toward all women, with a focus on high school and college-aged girls.

The program is being offered by SAM Training (Safe Approach for Managing Aggressive Behavior).
