The University of Hartford is launching a strategic planning process this summer that will result in a five-year implementation plan for integrated strategic directions for its future.

In a message to the University community, President Walter Harrison says several already completed significant activities are charting a clear and compelling path for the future, including Foundation of the Future, the branding and marketing initiative, and the Facilities Master Plan. Now the strategic planning process will focus on the few important institution-wide opportunities that will strengthen the University and solidify its position as a leader in private higher education. The strategic planning process as outlined on a dedicated website offers and invites extensive participation from the University community, faculty, staff, and students through surveys, reports, focus groups, town hall meetings, and other activities.

The effort is being lead by Harrison, Provost Sharon Vasquez and University vice presidents. Stay tuned to UNotes and bookmark the dedicated website to stay up-to-date on how you can participate in and be informed about the strategic plan.
